Today’s $100 gas card winner is Daniel Martin at the Leesburg branch! Mr. Martin began donating blood in Miami and has given over 39 gallons in total. Since 2001, he has donated every two weeks at the Leesburg branch. He was very grateful for the gas cards because he will use them for a family trip. Congratulations!

Jamie Enfinger, of Umatilla, is today’s $100 gas card winner at the Tavares branch!  Jamie was happy to find herself a winner.  She is a mother of two and said she would use the cards to take her children back and forth to summer events.  Congratulations Jamie!

Today’s $100 gas card winner is Betty French at the Florida Hospital branch! Betty is a Florida Hospital employee and has donated over five gallons of blood. She said having the branch inside the hospital is very convenient because she doesn’t miss her donation dates!

Today’s $100 gas card winner is Frances Lethieco at the Cape Coral branch!  Mrs. Lethieco is a four gallon donor and a regular platelet donor.  She was thrilled and thankful to win the award.  Mrs. Lethieco turned 72 this year and said she loves the feeling of saving lives!

Today’s $100 gas card winner is Mark P. Schnobrick at the Plantation branch!  Mr. Schnobrick is a school teacher in Broward County and a faithful donor.  He said that he and his wife will use the cards for a trip to Universal Studios at the beginning of June!

Today’s $100 gas card winner is Robert Barry at the Osceola branch! As he donated his 65th pint, he was excited and grateful to hear he was the winner.  The staff and donors cheered and clapped while he was presented with the award!

Today’s $100 gas card winner is John Jenkins at the Lake Park branch!  John is a 49 gallon donor who does apheresis.  Congratulations John!

MAY 21 WINNER

Today’s $100 gas card winner is Randy Fulton at the Leesburg branch! Randy has donated more than seven gallons and was surprised to find himself a winner of $100 of gas. He said the cards will really help him because his Ford F-150 costs $80 to fill up! Today was Randy’s exact due date to donate, and he happily pointed out that it pays to be on time!

MAY 20 WINNER

Today’s $100 gas card winner is William Gutierrez at the Miramar branch! He is a faithful donor, having just been in Saturday to give platelets and returning today to give whole blood. At the end of his donation, the FBC staff surprised William with balloons and shouted congratulations! While slightly embarrassed, William was extremely happy and grateful for the gift. He said he would put the $100 in gas cards to good use immediately!

MAY 19 WINNER

Linda Hopkins is today’s $100 gas card winner! A loyal donor since 2003 and a platelet donor since 2004, she was shocked when FBC staff at Cape Coral handed her a bouquet of balloons and $100 in gas cards. She posed for pictures as other amazed donors congratulated her!

MAY 18 WINNER

Myriam Sanchez is today’s $100 gas card winner! A loyal donor at the Michigan branch, today was her 19th pint. After her name was announced over the intercom, Myriam was presented with balloons, a bouquet of flowers and $100 in gas cards! The FBC staff cheered and thanked her for giving the gift of life. She said she was going to fill up right after she left!

MAY 16 WINNER

Our $100 gas card winner today is Larry Walter from Orlando.  He is a long-time, 10 gallon and platelet donor here at FBC.  He lives in Orlando and has been giving blood since the late 1980s, when FBC’s headquarters was on Gore Street in Downtown Orlando.  He has 6 kids and 8 grandkids and he says he will need the $100 in gas to visit the kids this summer.

MAY 15 WINNER

Marvin Dooley from Ocala is the first Summer Donor 08 to win $100 in gas cards. If that’s not enough excitement- he is an O Negative donor! The staff at Ocala celebrated with balloons and when asked what he planned to do next, it wasn’t to go to Walt Disney World. He planned to immediately go out and fill ‘er up!
